Free date and newness for museums!
The Archaeological site of Pompeii joins the proposal by the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage, "IoVadoAlMuseo" (I go to the Museum). This plan consists in 20 days of free entrance in the calendar year and it involves all the cultural points of interests of the Mibac. In addition to the first Sunday of the month, from October to March, and to the Week of the Museum (From the 5th to the 10th of Marc), every Italian National Museum will offer 8 free entrances, selected on the basis of the territory characteristics or local historical recurrences. In Pompeii the 8 free entrance will be on the following day: 30th of March, 25th of April, 8th of May, 8th of June, 24th of October, 24th of December, 26 December, and 31st of December. This list in effective in 2019. Another newness is that for the UE citizens from 18 to 25 years of age the ticket costs 2 euro. For people under the age of 18 the entrance is always free.
