KirstyThe staff her were amazing. They couldn't give us enough help. Told us best places to go and visit. Room was nice and clean. The pool was wonderful. Make sure you eat onsite as the food was the best! Chestnut cake was the bomb!!!! Will be coming back!
WilliamVery impressed with this resort. Room was well appointed with comfortable bed and nicely sized work-desk. Short walk to restaurants and Pompeii ruins. New restaurant serves excellent food and wine. Breakfast buffet features a multitude of choices from fresh fruit to meats, cheeses, pastries, cereals and more. All employees are attentive, cheerful, knowledgeable and helpful. Would definitely stay here again :)
LanTotally brilliant from all aspects. Highly recommended. Superb views, good access, friendly staff, excellent rooms and great food.
MatthewWonderful stay close to Pompeii ruins Great hotel a little bit outside of Pompeii center but still walking distance to the town and to the ruins. The staff was super friendly and helped us with everything. It was my wife's 30th birthday and I asked for a card and a bottle of wine -- not only did they provide both but for the entire trip it seemed everyone in the hotel knew it was her birthday and made the experience extra special. Make sure to eat at the restaurant/winery next door (also called Bosco de Medici)! It's very good and affordable for a nice meal out.
HydroGraphicMe and my wife are currently waiting in naples airport after a short stay here. Hotel is a nice little spot. Clean, tidy and upto date. Staff are fantastic, especially front of house. Continental breakfast was spot on. Overall a comfortable short stay. Would reccomend.
Parcheggio interno...struttura davvero consigliata
nypappaleoneWe had a driver drop us off here from Naples on our way to Amalfi for a @ hour tour and tasting with lunch and it was fantastic, we got a tour from Elizabeth and it was GREAT she was very informative and w had a lot of laughs the wine and food was excellent would highly recommend and we all give it 5 Stars
WilliamayeI cannot get enough of this place. I have been twice with a friend and recently brought a group of 18 guests to tour the vineyard with lunch and wine sampling. The guests raved that this was one of their favorite destinations of the trip. The lovely Margherita showed us the vines and the land with a little slice of the Pompeii ruins thrown in, then on to the barrel room with a Prosecco toast and finally to a delicious lunch, where we were also serenaded. A truly wonderful experience. I recommend to all, and I shall return.
Trail108318We stayed at this resort based on recommendations from a friend...and were very pleased with our choice! The grounds are beautiful and include a large pool and lounging area with an extraordinary view of Mt Vesuvius. Really enjoyed eating and wine tasting while sitting among the grapevines at the restaurant. Both the wine and food were exceptional! Lastly, the staff helped coordinate a fantastic private tour of Pompeii with an extremely knowledgeable guide (Alessandro, aka Alex). A great way to end our travels in Italy!
RupaH4We stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks using it as a base to travel around the area. Firstly the setting of the hotel is lovely with a winery on site and a fabulous swimming pool with Vesuvius as its backdrop. My 5 stars are based on service. All the staff are superb and the service was excellent. A special shoutout to Antonio, Mario and Allena. The rooms are spacious but there is a downside in the design as the walls are thin and you hear every flush or noise from your neighbour! If I had reviewed just on rooms then it would have been 4 stars! We ate at the winery and the food and service again was excellent. The location of the hotel is a convenient 15 minutes from the ruins, the main restaurants and train station. We did the tour of the Amalfi Coast that the hotel promotes. This however was not a tour so much as a taxi that took you to the planned destinations. A bit disappointing as some local information during the travels would have been welcomed. Over all though a good hotel and I would certainly return
sarahefpetersonA large group of friends wanted to have a day at a winery that includes tasting, tour and grape stomping. Margarita went over and beyond expectations! They made us feel so special and we enjoyed taking part of the harvest festivities! From the classic singing, to the toasting and all of the delicious food. Bosco Di Medici is a fabulous winery. The grounds are really beautiful and you can see that they take pride in their craft. This was, by far, the best experience I've ever had at any local winery. I wish I could give them more than a 5 star review!
IDHAdelaideAfter a tour of the ancient city of Pompeii, Lello Tours suggested we have lunch at the Bosco de Medici Winery. What a great way to end the morning's tour. A spotlessly clean establishment with lovely gardens and vines very close to the old city with friendly and efficient English speaking staff. Lovely wine tastings (some wines being fermented in terra cotta) in beautiful surroundings. Great food tasting dishes with both white and red wines. The food is fresh and tasty and surprisingly, quite reasonably priced when you have the tasting menu. Our girls loved the two in house wandering minstrels singing Italian love songs. Definitely a great way to end your tour of Pompeii. Highly recommended
Ci ritorneremo sicuramente!
Curious823108I recomand this beautiful place full of peace. the staff was very nice especially our guide Roxanne that took us on tour in their experimental vineyards. She was knowledgeable and very kind. The lunch was incredible with typical plats and the wine was very very good. A young company with a great future. I will definitely return in this place. Thaks to everyone for the beautiful experience.
Ph HWe weren't planning on visiting the winery, and when our driver suggested it, to be honest we thought it must have been another tourist trap. We couldn't have been more wrong. The tour was fun and informative, the staff charming and the lunch delicious. This young winery is already producing wines of good quality in pleasant surroundings. Prices were reasonable and the experience was one of the highlights of our trip.
Tom HResort Bosco was a great little find on our trip around Italy. Antonio and his guys at the front desk were excellent, very helpful and friendly. The room was great and the restaurant on site was also wonderful. Great view of Mt. Vesuvius from the pool as well as a easy walk to the center of Pompeii as well as the ruins. Would highly recommend.
Aida IOttima struttura! Mi sono trovata molto bene. Gentilezza, accuratezza, eleganza, cura e pulizia.
Jen CWe stayed at this winery for 4 nights, the room was large and comfortable, the bed was great quality and very comfortable. The staff were helpful and friendly, even when putting up with my lack of Italian. The food at the winery was fabulous, having us coming back 3 times. Great food, great value and great staff. We will happily stay here again, highly recommend. Oh and the wine is fabulous. Easy walk to town and the ruins - which were really interesting. Lots of tours available.
Merci!!
David CIf you’re in or around Pompei you have to pop into this place. Either stay here or just have lunch, it’s delightful. We booked a wine tasting and lunch and were personally greeted at the entrance, walked around the vineyards before a amazing lunch.
Toller Pool. Gute Ausgangslage zu Exkursionen.
Christian RieserGet down and take a break here -The location is great, completely calm and to get to the center takes you 7 minutes by feet -A beautiful pool area with a big garden on the other side -Great wine available in their own winery
berylvery peaceful and beautiful location The breakfast was excellent and plentiful. The location was a little further out of centre than we thought and the taxi driver from the airport had great difficulty in finding it but we should have booked the hotel's transfer and it would have been easier - and much cheaper! It was a lovely location - very peaceful - and so it was worth the extra walk everyday.
FeliciaStaff very friendly and very helpful. Pool amazing. Room exceptionally clean and spacious. Just loved it there
MarcPerfection The hotel is not far away from the ruins (15min walk) the staff was so nice starting from the the resort to the restaurant, the vineyard is really nice and their wines are really tasty, The restaurant is really good and cheap when you compare it with the one in the center of pompei. We also made some tour with them that were well organizated The only think we can say it’s grazie mille !!!
MichaelTop Das Hotel hat meine Erwartungen übertroffen.Eine wirkliche Oase,im Schatten des Vesuvs. Der Pool mit den Aussenanlagen, einfach super.Das Personal einfach Super Freundlich.Perfekt.
SThe Bosco is a total gem, we all loved it, the setting was so fabulous and the little farm was sweet The staff at the Bosco de Medici were EXCEPTIONAL, they all went out of their way to help and were so brilliant with local information and organising taxis etc for us. I cannot recommend them highly enough
AndreaThe property was beautiful and well maintained. A great view of Mt. Vesuvius from the pool area. Close proximity to the ruins of Pompeii and Herculaneum. The rooms were clean and felt very spacious because of the sitting room attached to the bedroom. The food in the restaurant was excellent, and reasonably priced for lunch and dinner. The staff was extraordinary. Special thanks to Antonio and to Roxanna at the restaurant. They were both charming and accommodating.
Corinna SchobertAuf jeden Fall zu empfehlen! Sehr schönes Hotel! Sehr freundliches Personal!
Gabriele HWe were in that lovely resort for two nights while visiting the Pompeii ruins. It was a wonderful experience after much walking in Rome prior, and another in-depth tour with an archeologist in Pompeii. We had rented a basic room, which was sufficient with good amenities. What really made this resort fantastic were A. The outdoors, the pool, the views, the restaurant, and the farm with all the animals right next to it, and, B. The staff. The two women, that were checking us were extremely helpful and delightful: Nidia and Anapaula. When they went on the weekends the next day, Mario and Antonio took their place at the reception. And again, they were very personable, friendly, extremely helpful this information and kind. We had a wonderful meal at the restaurant, great wine, They have their own winery. The waiter there, Lorenzo, wasn’t only informed and helpful, he also was very entertaining :-) Paolo, the young driver of the hotel, who took us to the train station, was very personable also. He spoke very good English, as everybody else there. He gave us great tips for our next destination: Sorrento. He recommended that we take a boat or ferry at the Amalfi coast, instead of trying to do it with a driver and a car. Great advice, indeed! We loved that resort, and we will come back again, if we will be so lucky again is it Italy in the near future. Perhaps, next time, we may book a suite. It’s very popular place. And even though this is the end of September, we were very glad that you made the reservations well in advance.
Katie SThis place is absolutely breathtaking. After a nightmare getting here due to a bus dropping us in the middle of nowhere (even though he said he went to Pompei) this hotel rose up like an oasis in the desert. Everything about this hotel is first class. From the surroundings, to the pool, to the staff. Nothing is too much trouble for all of the staff here including the cleaners (made art out of my pjs). The food is lovely and plentiful. The pool is superb. The adjoining winery and restaurant is fantastic with amazing staff and incredible food and drink. Giuseppe checked us in and recommended tours for us after discussion with ourselves as to what we wanted to do in our short stay here and we were not disappointed. We arrived before check in and they took our luggage, told us to change and go hang out by the pool and gave us lovely drinks while we waited. I cannot recommend this place enough. We didn't want to leave. A pure slice of heaven xx
Edmond JWhat a beautiful hotel set in grounds of lemon trees and vines. Antonio, Enrico and all the staff were extremely helpful and very pleasant. We recommend you book any trips with the hotel. Rooms were very clean and tastefully furnished. On arrival we took the wine tasting tour with a superb lunch on the restaurant terrace under the vines. Their own produced wines are of the highest quality. Excellent swimming pool set in beautiful garden with Versuvius in the background. Within walking distance of Pompeii town and Pompeii ruins. The beautiful church and town square are well worth a visit.
krisgils33We arrived and were provided with a lovely tour hosted by Elizabeta. She was new to the winery and had a vast knowledge of the winery and history of the area. She clearly was proud of the winery and excellent at her job. After the tour, we had lunch which consisted of a multiple tasting course of food and wine. The wine was fantastic and the food was also quite excellent. The sommelier, Vincenzo, who presented the various wines was extremely knowledgeable and, again, proud of the winery and the history of the area. The entire experience was delightful and will be one of the most memorable highlights of our 16 day journey through Italy.
Mariah HMy friend and I visited the winery and restaurant a couple weeks ago. We were extremely impressed by our entire experience! Service was amazing, we had Luigi as our server, he was charming and very helpful with our selection. There was a wine tasting going on and one of the other servers came by and let us taste a 2008 red blend. It was phenomenal! We loved this place and the food was out of this world. Highly recommend the eggplant Parmesan and gnocchi! For dessert, try the cheesecake!
860marieWe visited after visiting Pompeii and wow so glad we did. Roxana met us for our wonderful tour and wine tastings , she was so friendly and full of information about the area and the wines. Next was lunch with each course served with a glass of wine. The staff were friendly the food and wine were fantastic and i will be ordering some from their web site. Highly recommend visiting .
WalgarriAfter our tour of Pompeii we had some time to kill before our restaurant booking for lunch and our driver suggested we pop out to this beautiful winery. It was a very quick drive from the ruins and well worth the visit. They very kindly took us straight through for a wine tasting that was accompanied by some light aperitif/snacks. The proseco & wine were divine (and we did purchase some) and we wished we did not have a booking already for lunch as it was such a serene, calm & cool and would have been a perfect spot for lunch
Amanda ILoved our stay here room was clean. Staff very welcoming the swimming pool and pool area was great just a few meters from our room. Winery restaurant very nice food. Riding stables farmyard all accessible to guests. Pompeii ruins just a short drive away. Excellent.
Andrew BWe stayed here (2 adults, 2 kids) for 7 nights in August while visiting Pompeii. From the moment we arrived, we knew we'd found an oasis just outside the city. Antonio, Mario and the team made us all welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room wasn't ready as we'd arrived early, but we were welcome to use the pool and facilities until the room was made available... We had a suite with a hot tub and a sofa bed pulled out for the kids... the rooms were spotlessly clean, bathrooms impeccable and they were perfect for our stay... The resort is simply beautiful. A huge pool and a small number of rooms means this is a truly quiet oasis and there's no need to rush for a sun bed or worry about anything at all. The resort is 15 minutes walk from the centre of Pompeii (and about 20 minutes to the ruins) and we went into town on a daily basis... All of the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and guide us on the best things to do with a young family... The tours they suggested were fantastic and we had the most amazing holiday we've ever had.. We all wanted to stay forever! There is a continental breakfast everyday and the coffee was amazing! The winery do a wine tasting lunch (set menu) and an ala carte dinner. Booking is simple (just ask at the desk) and the food and wine is divine.. Vincenzo and Roxanna went over and above to make our meals and wine tasting a real Italian experience... If you're looking for somewhere to escape the rat race, yet you still want to be close to the sights, then this is the place for you... Ask the staff for suggestions on tours (they will be so much better than the high pressure sales you'll get in town)... We will return some day to this little piece of paradise in the shadow of Vesuvius
Mary QAfter traveling all over Italy or even just after a day at the ruins, this resort is truly wonderful! Service was fantastic, pool is relaxing, the rooms are clean and cool, and view doesn't disappoint. Yes there are children and the sounds of animals. But I barely noticed because it was so quiet and wonderful to have wine brought to our table by the pool watching the sunset over Vesuvius. The hotel only has a couple dozen rooms, so there were never more than a few children or other guests around. Also a great value, in our case we couldn't afford a place with a pool or hot tub in Positano so this was wonderful way to add luxury and extra romance to our trip. Finally after being at the ruins and in downtown Pompeii it was nice to simply walk back to this off the beaten path retreat. The restaurant and winery were so good we didn't need to go back out. The rooms come with bath soap and lotion from the winery too. Only minor complaint was that for two mornings in a row they had run out of bacon and eggs during the second hour of breakfast, but we didn't come to Italy for the bacon. I wish we could have taken another day to just relax all day at the pool and winery soaking in the view of historic Mt. Vesuvius. I never say never, so hope to go back someday!
Frenchy1407I only checked out today and felt compelled to write a review. We have been travelling around Italy having spent time in Rome and moving on to the coast south of salerno. We wanted to discover pompei with our 2 children and upon arrival at the hotel, we were offered a fantastic choice of trips and arranged visits to some spectacular local scenes. The offer was not pressured and the welcome we received at the hotel was warm and friendly, just like every single day that we spent here. I will first talk about the trips and then move on to the fantastic team and wonderful surroundings. We took an arranged taxi to vesuvius - well, having been there i cannot recommend this enough, the taxis are able to take you higher than the public car parks and with a decent walk still to do once reaching the top, i can only begin to imagine how tough it would be to start at the public car park. First great recommendation from the hotel. Secondly was our trip along the amalfi coast. The roads are winding and cliff hanging at times but the scenery is stunning. i will no doubt return in a 2 seater sports car with my wife one day and enjoy the twists and turns, but driving a left hand drive hire car with two children would not have been fun, the organised trip took care of the scenery and important towns of positano and amalfi. My only criticism (and its a small one) is that the trip was just a little too long and although our driver was friendly, he spoke no english and so communication throughout the day was non existent. However, i am pleased to say that although we arrived back at the time the pool was due to close, with two very frustrated children (too much time on a coach) the reception team were happy to keep the pool open for an extra 30 minutes to let the children have a play....a really great touch by the hotel team. Our final recommendation is the guide to pompei ruins. We initially did not sign up for this, but on arrival we soon changed our mind, its so big and the guides are first class really bringing everything to life. The hotel offer this so i would strongly recommend booking with them. So in summary, 3 great recommendations from the hotel team. So, what of the hotel.....well, i like to read other reviews and have been staggered by some of the negative or less positive comments. This hotel is fantastic. Small and initmate meaning we were always made to feel welcome and special. The reception team always had a smile and a warm welcome and could not have been more helpful. Every morning we were greeted at breakfast by a very nice young man, i beleive he worked overnight as well, i'm sorry we did not catch his name, but again we were welcomed every morning with a big smile and some great coffee! The room we had was perfect. We were staying with two children and they shared a sofa bed in a front part of the room, seperated by a glass tiled wall. The jacuzzi bath with the light therapy was wonderful at the end of a long day. The pool was perfect, our children are the best recommendation on this one and they spent every hour they could in the pool whilst we enjoyed drinks from the small, but perfectly placed pool bar. Our final comment/recommendation is the restaraunt at the winery. The wine us tremendous, the food is exquisite (top quality restaraunt food) and the service again was great. We had the same waiter the two nights we ate there who was very friendly and professional and the lady who worked there (again, no name, sorry) who told us about the wine was so engaging with our family. The cost was incredibly reasonable as well, not cheap but also not at all expensive for the quality of food that we were eating. The best example of an engaged restaraunt was when i asked the the Beef Entrecote for both of my chidren, and before i had chance to ask whether they could share one portion, the waiter suggested this. A restaraunt that puts the customer ahead of the euro.....thank you! We were so wonderfully impressed. The view from the pool with mount vesuvius over looking is a picture that will stay with me forever. We will certainly be back one day, Well done to the entire team, it was a real pleasure.
RichBon1Stayed for 2 nights. Really convenient for Pompeii and a real oasis with a wonderful pool with amazing views of Vesuvius. The rooms and breakfast were excellent and the staff were attentive. The adjoining restaurant was top class and the local wines amazing.Definitely recommended.
Wendy RWe stayed at the Hotel for four nights whilst visiting Pompeii. It is indeed a lovely hotel. The grounds are beautiful and the pool fabulous! Everywhere is clean and well maintained. The pool is huge and just what the kids needed after all the sightseeing. The rooms are fine, clean and what you would expect for a four star hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant attached is excellent as are the wines. The setting is also pretty. We all enjoyed the food including the children
Mistero all' italiana!
Elisabeth DAYONExcellent hotel.
Jeannie0582We stayed here for a week in May-and really fell in love with the place! The staff who looked after us every day were second to none-nothing was too much trouble for them. Huge thank you to Antonio and Guiseppe on the front desk-as well as Nidia, Mario, and Marco. The pretty garden area around the pool with roses and lemon trees was a great place to relax, when not out sightseeing. One of the highlights was the little farm/petting zoo next to the hotel. The donkey was really cute, as were the horses in the stables close by. We will definitely be returning to this lovely hotel!
cath wI cannot praise this place enough. The pool setting was goreous and welcome in the heat. The service was amazing and everything clean and relaxed. We ate dinner twice in the adjoining winery (which is rare for us to go back to the same place twice). Our kids loved the pool and the petting farm and the comfort
ElizabethAn oasis of luxurious calm in a busy tourist area. The pool with Vesuvius in the background stunning. The winery restaurant was excellent.
ElvisPhishStayed here for two nights whilst visiting Pompeii. Really warm welcome from Antonio on the front desk. I would describe this place as more of a motel but in the best way possible. Swimming pool is a delight, one can swim whilst looking at Vesuvius. Rooms are classic Italian Hotel design, so functional. Set in a Vineyard this would not be out of place in Nappa Valley. Has an associated Wineyard with a superb restaurant, which i would highly recommend for a least one night of your visit. Staff all very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast well covered for all national tastes. I will return for sure next time i visit Pompeii or maybe even at it as a tour stop on a tour. Oh and almost missed and very sweet for visit is the small farm were you can see the Donkey and his friends, a Pig, Rabbits, Turkeys, Chickens and their Kitchen Garden.
TherealmccreaOur only regret of our stay was that it was just for one night. What an awesome place! Beautiful setting an easy walk to the ruins, with a commanding view of Mt. Vesuvius in the distance from the swimming pool. We enjoyed fabulous service from everyone, especially Giuseppe! Everything was immaculately clean. And we really enjoyed dinner at the on site winery. We highly recommend this hotel!
Laurie ROur family spent three nights here. It is a beautiful resort - the grounds are immaculate, the outdoor pool is beautiful and the rooms are modern and very clean. The attached winery has awesome food and wine and the setting is beautiful. It was nice and quiet and easy to travel to the ruins, Sorrento, Amalfi Coast, etc. Would highly recommend this property.
moira tWe stayed at Bosco De Medici one night in June. We went directly from the airport in Naples to Pompeii. It was about a 35 minute drive. As you are driving there you are kind of confused as to where this nice looking resort could possibly be but once you make the left hand turn into the resort and drive through the gates its beautiful grounds, a lovely pool, a winery, horses, and nice rooms. The receptionist help us book a guide for the following day and then we spent the afternoon watching the sunset over Pompeii with some wine from their vineyard at the pool. The pool has a little bar which was great and the staff was helpful and attentive. The room was good - had all that my group of 4 needed for one night but the winery was great! The wine was great and the food and ambiance were fantastic. I would highly recommend the resto for dinner if you stay somewhere else in Pompeii (but in my opinion you should stay here). The walk to the ruins was about 15-20 minutes (if you don't get lost like we did). The breakfast in the morning was nice - lots of pastries and juices and eggs and yogurts. I hadn't included it but they added it on for 8 EUR no problem. I had portable wifi device sent there for the day before my arrival and they kept it nice and safe for us. I would highly recommend this hotel if staying in Pompeii. It was a great first night on our holiday.
CarlosThe location is quiet and close to ruins the swimming pool is perfect size and temperature the hotel has small size for personal attention. The restaurant of the winery is very good and the wines are great
GerardEverything, Room was amazing, Shower amazing, Bed amazing, Wine & Food was superb. We will be back. Pool fab, Antonio was excellent in reception.
Veramente top. Grazie
TeddyWhat not to like! To start with all the staff were absolutely lovely! Couldn’t of asked for such lovely people! The main man himself so kind and happy to help! The restaurant/winery, the staff were absolutely spot on! Especially the pair with the man who calls her his wife! The food is absolute top draw! The pools lovely! They have a little farm with a donkey who’s very cute! The bar staff and reception staff amazing! Couldn’t of asked for such a lovely time! Thank you all!
John HI was very impressed by our waiter. He spoke at least 3+ languages while managing multiple tables. Cero from joe bananas limos brought us here. I was hesitant since i was tired from lots of traveling but it was definitely worth the visit. Great food and wine.
Nik CBeautifully designed winery surrounded by vines and kitchen gardens with lemon trees. Delicious food accompanied by fresh elegant Pompeii wine. Absolutely a must. I recommend enjoying a visit as lunch times offer wine tasting with amazing menu-including home grown ingredients. Fabulous friendly family run. Think warm sunshine tomatoes lemon and wine, fragrant elegant delicious. Taste of history with Vines growing on Vesuvius soil. Details reflect Pompeii’s past ... Menus subtle design with the Greek key trigger historical thoughts.
650AnneKWe were recommended to enjoy lunch by Private Tours of Pompeii and it was an excellent recommendation. The setting was amazing on the low slopes of Versuvius, eating lunch in the shade of the vines! Superb food and delicious wines and Olive oil, plus a very friendly, welcoming and informative staff. We enjoyed a very interesting tour after lunch. If you’re visiting Pompeii ruins before, leave from the amphitheatre exit and it’s an easy 15 minute walk to the winery.
BgahrThis hotel was a nice surprise. It grows it’s own food and makes its own wine. The grounds are well kept. The pool was wonderful. Our room was clean and AC worked great. The restaurant offered several delicious dishes. I would stay here again. The restaurant staff was delightful!
AnonimoThis hotel is in a winery, I have no idea why they don't advertise that. Pompeii seemed quite rough, but you pull into this property and it is a gated resort and winery. The pool is beautiful and there is a bar at the pool (although we brought our own booze). The ruins are 3km walk away. The front desk asked us if we wanted a wine tasting for 30 euro each, we declined, they asked if we wanted to eat dinner in the restaurant, we agreed. We had no idea dinner was in the winery, we got to sit in the vineyard patio area under grape vines and enjoyed dinner for 3 including seconds because it was so good along with a bottle of wine for around $60 euro. The atmosphere was great, the food and local wine was great and the rooms were clean like a hotel but with a patio to sit outside. The hotel was the highlight of our many hotels in Italy. There were lemon trees and vines everywhere, its as a beautiful property.
LauraWe booked into this resort last minute as our previously booked accommodation wasn't up to scratch, and it was a blessing in disguise! The location is great with a 15 minute stroll to the centre of Pompeii where there are lots of bars and restaurants, the ruins of Pompeii are a 20 minute stroll also. The staff in the resort were exceptional, always very happy to help and truly made our stay very enjoyable. What better way to spend the afternoon or evening than lounging by the pool and having a relaxing drink with views of Mount Vesuvius! The breakfast was excellent with a large selection.
Lois GSet in a vineyard, this resort consists of one level units and a huge swimming pool with nice shady garden around the pool. Only 15 mins walk into the town of Pompeii and handy to Pompeii ruins. Staff very friendly and helpful. When our taxi didn't turn up they gave us a bottle of wine as compensation for the long delay. Thanks for an amazing stay.
AdelinaI think there is the best place to stay when in Pompei. There is a pool with a view to Vesuvius, an amazing restaurant located in the same complex that serves local wines as well as the possibility to ride horses. Plus that, beside visit the ancient site, there is nothing else to do in Pompei
Adatto a coppie e famiglie.
Ella SWhen we arrived the view of Vesuvius from the pool area was amazing! The pool itself is huge and well maintained as are the gardens it sits in. Lovely relaxing surroundings with plenty of sunbeds and places to sit both in the sun and shade. The room was excellent; clean and comfortable - we had a spa bath in ours which added to the relaxed atmosphere. Couldn't fault the accommodation. The staff were without exception excellent. Always smiling, friendly and happy to help. If Giovanni offers Alex as a guide to take you around Pompei, take him up on it ... he is brilliant and well worth the fee. The restaurant down the road is also excellent. No need to venture any further for your evening meal. Even the little farm is a lovely distraction - particularly the friendly little donkey. All in all it was a lovely little self-contained resort. Wish we could have stayed longer.
ruggeropoliEccellente. Noi ci torneremo sicuramente! E lo consigliamo davvero
tolsallyWe travel widely and this is one of the best resort style premises we have visited! The setting is glorious and very peaceful, and the swimming pool beautiful and spotless. The facilities and rooms are modern and spotless and the staff were absolutely amazing, they couldn't do enough for you and were charming. Also the winery and a la carte restaurant on site are wonderful and the staff there are great as well. All in all a 5* experience, we'll go again!!!
pringletinaStayed at this hotel while visiting pompeii, the location was fantastic, so quiet with a view of Vesuvius but only 15 mins walk from the centre of Pompeii and the ruins. There was a lovely pool to chill out around and a small farm on site if you had kids and there was also a riding school next to the resort. The hotel rooms were well decorated and had everything you needed and ours had a small patio which looked out on the gardens. The staff were friendly and very helpful, making recommendations for the area and organising transport. The hotel also have a lovely restaurant and wine testing rooms a couple of minutes walk away which we tried. Our stay was short but throughly enjoyed it and would visit again if in the area.
Martin DillaDear Team of Bosco de' Medici Resort, we spent two days of our honeymoon in Pompei. As soon as we arrived at the Resort Hotel, we were warmely received. Everyone at the reception spoke english, so that it was easy for us to understand (we are from germany) all the day trip offers at the Resort Hotel. The room was designed modern and was equipeed with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We spent one afternoon at the pool where we enjoyed the atmosphere between lemon trees and the warm weather. It was so kind that drinks were served at the pool by the Team. Especially the service of Marco and Antonio was most kind. We wish the Bosco de' Medici Resort all the best for the future. Best regards Martin and Stephanie
Tracy and Ian HumphrisLovely hotel; great rooms; luxury spa bath; beautifully kept gardens and pool area and excellent service. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to explore this area.
SonjaBeversWe stayed with our two daughters in this hotel; great spacious rooms with seperate terras, incredible domain with impecable garden, animals,.. but most of all a very big and very clean pool. They opened their restaurant on our 2nd day, we had dinner there 3 times and can only recommend everybody staying there to have dinner at that premise; great authentic Italian food, ery high standard. All people are professional and very nice, specially Antonio, he is a great asset for the hotel and restaurant !!
Torneremo senz'altro!
Campbell AndyYoung Marco in the kitchen every morning would make sure my coffee was made beautifully and was always making sure everything was great. We were well looked after. The breakfast was probably one of the better ones we have had on our 8 week trip around Europe. Service was excellent! Antonio and others on the desk would always make sure the restaurant was booked for us, the taxi and day trips were organised and I really couldn't fault their recommendations. We went to Caupona restaurant on their recommendation and if you can go, it's a an excellent experience all round with service, food and information. The room was made up daily and around our schedule which was awesome. We had a suite spa room and enjoyed the spa even though the jets didn't work. The pool had amazing little touches and we loved the urn waterfalls off to the side. The animal section was a nice touch and they didn't wake us but ZaZa the donkey would often call out and loved an apple or two that we collected from one of the many beautiful fruit trees in the property. The restaurant was good and we enjoyed the vino made there. It was a short walk to town and a great view of Mount Vesuvius, close to the ruins and this hotel offered a little oasis in the hub of Pompeii..
KateWe wanted to stay near to the famous ruins and convenient for Vesuvius. What I wasn’t expecting was that modern Pompeii is not very nice at all. We persevered driving to find it and were very pleasantly surprised. The hotel was clean, small enough to be friendly but had all the amenities required. The pool was lovely and the room was plenty big enough and the hotel had everything you need. What really set it apart was the staff who are really lovely and friendly. They speak excellent English but still allowed me to practice my Italian. Nothing was too much trouble. It is almost next door to the famous ruins but we had to walk around to the main gate which was about 20 minutes walk very convenient and easy. In the evening we decided to eat in the onsite restaurant, it was simply delicious. Beautifully presented and extremely tasty and once again the staff were faultless. So friendly and very good at their job, we felt that we were the most important customers they have ever had. Next year we shall be booking a couple of nights, maybe three..
imaycoeWe stayed for a week and what an absolutely amazing time we had. Antonio and all the staff couldn't do enough for us. After parking the car we went through the citrus orchard to reception and was greeted warmly by Antonio. The room was large and very clean, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was well equipped. There was a large selection of fresh food and fruit for breakfast and there was always a welcoming smile from Marko, who looked after us each morning at breakfast. The pool and gardens were well looked after, with a wonderful backdrop of Vesuvius. And for the children there is a small farm to visit, delightful. Our 1st visit to Italy and we will be going back to Bosca de' Medici
2004nannie1956Stay for 5 nights and had an amazing time. The staff were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms super clean and fresh. The breakfasts had an amazing wide variety catering for all choices. A 10 minute walk from Pompeii town centre but so peaceful you would think it was a lot further. Cannot find anything to complain about only wish we could have stayed longer. Would defiantly return.
Ian MissingAbsolutely stunning, in the Country yet only a few minutes walk from city center. Beautiful farm feel, immaculate rooms and facilities set in beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Highly recommended and staff, particularly Margherita, increably helpful and welcoming to guests - made us feel at home and nothing was too much trouble. If you visiting Pompeii and want a bit of fresh air and peaceful surroundings this is the place.
Consigliatissimo.
John GVisit this hotel for two nights during a visit to see the ruins of Pompeii. Arrived late at night, and the hotel arranged for a taxi to pick us up at the train station. Once at the hotel, we were offered glass of water as we checked in, and the helpful gentleman on reception offered us information about the city, the ruins and could make arrangements with local guides for us. Our room was lovely, very clean and comfortable. The rooms are set out on one level, surrounding beautiful gardens and orange trees. The resort is absolutely silent, which is welcome relief after the bustle of tourists. Had a nice sleep in the room, the free wifi was perfect - very fast! The TV had a full range of channels, and the air conditioning and heating worked very well. This complex seems to have been completely renovated, so the room was fresh and modern, but very charming as well - with beautiful stone walls and tiled floor. Breakfast was very nice - coffee served to the table, and they even check if you would like another cup which was a nice touch. Very attentive staff, who were so friendly and welcoming. The selection was nice, and very fresh. The orange juice was lovey and cold, and tasted great. I have to say, the staff made you feel so very welcome at this hotel, and I would highly recommend it to anyone coming to Pompeii.
Noi ci rivedremo molto presto
PhoenixWe stayed for one night during our honeymoon after arriving to see the ruins too late. The hotel is located down a residential street much like the rest of Pompei, which is a bit run down. But, as soon as you reach the property gates, everything changes. It is immaculately landscaped with wonderful citrus, cacti and beautiful flowering plants. The hotel is very clean and everything is new, with good technology. We stayed in a suite with a jetted tub that was amazing - it was like a private hot tub in the room. The hotel has their own vineyard and wines, so we got a bottle and chatted with the staff at the front, who were extremely friendly, accommodating and spoke great English. Breakfast was very nice, with a large spread and delicious cappuccinos. The gate closes at night, which made us feel very secure, and if you want to stay out late for dinner or drinks, they just buzz you back in. It is an oasis. Oh, and my favorite surprise was the little play farm they have in the back - so charming. A little garden, and peacocks, chickens, ducks, a cow and a donkey. Highly recommend this property if you are visiting the ruins or just traveling through town.
Steven"Nicest hotel I've been to thus far." We booked randomly while staying in Rome, Decided to take a little break and go stay in Pompeii, Booked online for 2 nights, We had a bit of a mix up, ended up with a suite for one night and a double room for the other. Price was reasonable, The rooms were both great. The property couldn't have been better, everything as really clean and neat and aesthetic. Staff was excellent, really laid back and helpful, we asked about things in town and got help with everything. Breakfast was solid and entirely worth it. I would 100% stay there again if in the area.
BekbatNothing about this resort can be described as sub-standard; everything from the rooms to the staff and the grounds are excellent. Located within walking distance of Pompeii's famous attractions, the rooms are comfortable, air-cooled and had everything we required. Breakfast offered a huge selection of delicious foods served by staff who couldn't be more helpful and polite. The resort grounds are immaculately well kept (many thanks to the gardeners for maintaining such a Eden) and feature a huge, clean swimming pool with sun loungers provided by a very helpful attendant as well as a well-stocked farm, which is great fun for small children. We will not forget watching, from the cool waters of the pool, the sun set behind the imposing Mount Vesuvius which dominates the skyline. In all, a fantastic resort.
Sicuramente ci rivedremo!!
VittorioLocation moderna e ben arredata, all'avanguardia, confortevole, quiete e ben posizionata.
LovinlifeBeautiful rooms. The gentlemen in the reception worked with me as I wanted to get a hot tub. The room was breathtaking. Giuseppe (gentlemen who checked us in 31st may) helped booked horse riding on the property which was amazing. He catered to every request with a smile. Amazing place to be I would come back over and over. New and very fresh. A must visit.
Ian - Torquay - AustraliaWe arrived late, around 830pm the reception guy guisseppe was very friendly and showed us right to our room. The room was near new and immaculate. We had a spa which was great after waliking herculaneum and pompei we needed it! Breakfast was simple but great, we dont go for huge breakfasts anyway. Again the reception staff were so friendly on departure we wished we could stay longer. We recommend this hotel as very good value for money.
LleeaneWe stayed one night and were very impressed by the service we got from Giovanni who showed us to our suite. The suite was very reasonably priced and it included a glass sided spa bath. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets and towels were very good quality. We had a huge bedroom, sitting room and large bathroom with excellent choice of complimentary products. The breakfast offered a good choice and again we had excellent service from Giuseppe and all the staff who looked after us in style. This was one of our best hotel experiences of our trip yo this area and was very well priced.
Mario - Toronto, OntarioWe had three great niights at BOSCO DE' MEDICI, The staff was super friendly and did everything possible to make our stay enjoyeble, The room was really beautiful, Clean, spacious and plenty of hot water. Very close to the main attractions. I loved how quiet it was at night. Would'nt hesitate to reccomend it to all. Antonio and Giuseppe went out of their way to ensure we had an amazing stay. Thanks again and we hope to have the chance to visit again!
Cooma - AustraliaThis is a new property about 10 minutes walk from the Pompeii CBD. The accommodation was very good, with tastefully decorated, well-equipped rooms, and a very comfortable bed! As travellers who are over 60, we appreciated the fact that the accommodation is all on ground level, with a short ramp to the office and breakfast room. The staff were wonderful. Claudia welcomed us on the first day, with the greatly appreciated offer of refreshment, and throughout our four night stay Antonio was most concerned for our comfort and welfare. The breakfast choices were very good. For dinner, the Resort has arrangements with local restaurants which include free transport to and from the restaurant. Our stay included visits to the ruins in Herculaneum as well as Pompeii, and a day trip to the Archaeological Museum in Naples. The Resort was an oasis of tranquillity after our excursion exertions!
